Food Sensitivity Testing

Many people are finding that they are intolerant or allergic to a variety of foods/substances.

I offer food sensitivity testing.  This will identify foods that may be having detrimental health effects.  Often the client may not have even connected their symptoms to being food related.

If you suffer from abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence, headaches, skin problems, asthma, poor energy or poor sleep, then the avoidance of certain foods may greatly help.

Foods that affect a person are very individual – one man’s meat is another man’s poison, literally.  An intolerance is difficulty digesting certain foods and having unpleasant physical reactions to them.  Eliminating the problem foods from one's diet can be very beneficial, sometimes immediately, but it is also important to address the reason for the body being intolerant to certain foods.

An intolerance can be due to various imbalances occurring within the body, such as a lack of digestive enzymes or stomach acid.  The over consumption of a particular food can also eventually cause the body to become intolerant of it.  Additionally, if Candida, parasites or intestinal bacteria get out of balance, then these can create food sensitivities due their metabolic processes and by the damage they cause to the gut.  It is also essential to improve the good gut bacteria in order to achieve a healthy digestive system.

Systematic Kinesiology may prove very helpful in identifying what is causing the imbalance which has resulted in the body being sensitive to certain foods.  Following the advice offered and allowing the body to heal, may have much greater impact than merely just eliminating the problematic foods.  When the gut has had chance to heal, then foods usually can gradually be reintroduced.  It can be difficult to adjust a restricted diet, so I also offer detailed dietary advice to support any recommendations.
